New York/Barcelona, ongoing project

Cyborg Art is a fascinating project. Neil Harbison and Moon Ribas founded it first in 2010 in New York City, and subsequently they relocated to Barcelona. It is about a tiny group of people who are becoming cyborgs, giving themselves a new sense, enhancing their experiences, and using the new sense to create art.
I was so thrilled when Kai Landre's manager, Alex Moli, told me that he was about to undergo a cyborg transformation to produce cosmic music that I found a way to embark on producing a documentary about him.

Kai Landre was invited to form part of the annual conference Envision at Princeton University. The topic of its 2019th edition was The future of us based on discussions about how technology is going to impact our lives in the future.

“A cyborg is a cybernetic organism, a hybrid of machine and organism, a creature of social reality as well as a creature of fiction.”
