December 2017, Barcelona

Zaida Trallero, cultural manager at Sant Andreu Contemporani, approached me with the idea to host and create a synergy in Ocaña for a specific project. SelfCare is Warfare is an evening of artistic actions, performances, readings, and various installations that review self-care as a battlefield, curated by Julia Morandeira. For over seven hours, Ocaña became a marathon of live actions and dynamic connections. An open call to the Visual Arts Competition Miquel Casablancas Award 2017 previously filtered the selection of the artists.
